Genealogy is exciting. 
I never know where a journey 
leads to: In which countries 
and places, in which times 
or to which names.

Sometimes it is surprising: 
famous relatives, 
long-forgotten lines or 
the truth about a secret. 
Or it is the beginning of 
friendships even across 
oceans and language 
barriers. 

But one thing she always 
gives is knowledge about 
ones roots.
