Leitmeritz – Online Kirchenbücher
Wer Vorfahren aus Nordböhmen hat, wird im Archiv Leitmeritz (tsch. Litoměřice) fündig.
Ausgangspunkt ist ein Heiratseintrag, laut dem der Bräutigam aus Laun in Böhmen stammt. Der nächste Schritt in einer Ahnenforschung besteht nun darin, dessen Taufeintrag zu finden.
Bei Genteam.at erfahren wir mehr über den Ort und bekommen einen Link zum richtigen Onlinearchiv. Dort legen wir die Auswahl der Archivalien fest, suchen das korrekte Buch, öffnen dieses und machen uns auf die Fährte des Taufeintrages.
Anhand dieses Beispieles zeige ich die Navigation der Seite, wie die Suche auf möglichst wenige Ergebnisse eingeschränkt wird, und was die Abkürzungen bei den Kirchenbüchern bedeuten.
